This project involved the architectural design and renovation of a beauty salon and fashion boutique in Al Khoud, Muscat. The brief focused on creating a clearer commercial identity, improving the visibility of the business, and making the premises more inviting within a limited budget.
The façade was updated through minimal, targeted changes intended to communicate the building’s use more clearly and attract potential customers. The approach prioritised a simple, coherent appearance while keeping alterations to the existing building economical.
The interior design addressed three levels with complementary functions. The basement was allocated to clothing display and retail, while the ground and first floors accommodated beauty salon services. The design sought to establish a consistent identity across these spaces while responding to the different needs of fashion retail and beauty treatments.
The project demonstrates how carefully considered façade and interior interventions can strengthen a business’s presence and support its activities without extensive changes to the existing building.
